As a fourty year old with 3 decades of competitive rugby, football and wrestling behind me, I have found TRX to be a way that I can still get an intense strength workout and a cardio blast without putting deleterious stress on my previously injured joints (most of them).  Also, most everyone I know doesn't stretch enough.  The TRX stretching  and TRX healthy back DVDs take me through a series of stretching that I usually wouldn't take the time to do.  I especially like the hip and psoas stretches.

Dr. Gerri likes to run and do yoga.  TRX has been a great way for Gerri to have resistance training, aerobic and anaerobic exercise, and the muscle lengthening found in yoga.  The best part about TRX is that we have found another form of exercise, in addition to running, that we enjoy doing together.

I have started my 11 year old son on the TRX for his golf swing and I have noticed an increase in his range of motion as well.  It's shocking how tight we all become if we don't stretch regularly.
