Dr. Patrick Ryan is a Gontead Fellow serving
the Randolph community.
As Past President of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society, with 20 years experience, Dr. Ryan is tirelessly committed to promoting Optimal Health through Specific Gonstead Chiropractic to his practice members.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Ryan was recruited to Life University to play rugby. As a 4-Year Scholarship Athlete, Dr. Patrick learned the advantages of a properly functioning Spine and Nervous System with regards to performance and injury prevention/rehabilitation. He was amazed to learn that people can and DO live long and healthy lives with out life-style medications.
Dr. Ryan uses a comprehensive, detailed approach. This approach to Wellness means finding the underlying cause of the disruption in the Spine and making a SPECIFIC correction to restore the FUNCTION of the Spine and Nervous System. Using this unique approach, Dr. Ryan is able to help you RESTORE, ACCELERATE and MAINTAIN your journey to good health. For these reasons, many patients travel over an hour one-way to seek his expertise. He successfully helps many post-spinal surgery patients recover their function where surgery has failed them. He is known as the Chiropractor's Chiropractor as many Chiropractors and their families are patients of Dr. Ryan.
Dr. Ryan currently sits on the Board of the Gonstead Clinical Studies Society. He has been a Gonstead Diplomate for 15 years and has recently been inducted into the the Gonstead College of Fellows. An honor that he has been working towards for the past 20 years. Dr. Ryan is a Diplomate in Pediatrics with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Ryan is a Certified Wellness Chiropractor Wellness Certification.
Dr. Ryan is the Founder and Director of Black River Rugby which is a Summer co-ed K-8th grade youth flag rugby program. Dr. Ryan is the Assistant Coach of the State-Champion Delbarton Rugby Club for which his son, Joseph Captains. Dr. Ryan has dedicated his entire life to his family, helping people and becoming the best Gonstead Chiropractor he can be.
Below Dr. Patrick is pictured teaching infant adjusting to students at Life University. Dr. Patrick travels to Chiropractic schools all across the country to teach students and other Chiropractors how to adjust adults and children using the Gonstead Method. He has also traveled around the world, most recently to Great Britain to teach Gonstead Pediatric Adjusting at the AECC. Dr. Ryan is also a founding member and a weekly contributor/instructor of the Rowe Chiropractic Study Club that meets every Thursday evening in NYC. This club is dedicated to creating competent, principled, subluxation-based Gonstead Chiropractors.
Dr. Gerri Ryan:
Dr. Gerri Ryan founded Ryan Chiropractic in 1998. She is a native of New Jersey. She has her B.A. from Smith College, where she majored in Art History and Minored in Exercise & Sports Science. She has her doctorate degree from Life University where she met Dr. Patrick Ryan.
She is committed to living the chiropractic lifestyle and raising her two boys, Joseph and Patrick Jr. the same way. She jogs with their rescue dog, Shawna and then takes their older dog, Buddy along for a slower paced walk:-) Her kitchen is 99% organic and GMO Free! She enjoys cooking healthy nutritious meals for her family. They literally eat out of their yard: grapes, cherries and all varieties of veggies grown in their garden.
She is passionate about sharing Gonstead Chiropractic with everyone she meets, especially moms & children. She and her family are a living testament that True Health comes from within.
Brenda first became a new patient of Dr. Gerri's in 1998, when she founded Ryan Chiropractic. Within a few months of Chiropractic Care, her asthma went away! She soon became a member of Team Ryan Chiropractic in 1999 to work in the billing department.
Brenda lost her hearing as an infant from a vaccine reaction. She is married and have two sons who are in college. Brenda loves seeing patients come in for Chiropractic Care, which helps them prevent use of drugs, surgery and realize what Optimal Health is.
Sarah joined the Ryan Chiropractic team in June of 2009 as a Chiropractic Assistant. She earned her B.A. from Centenary College, where she majored in Graphic Design.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, their two dogs, one cat, and their family and friends. She also enjoys cooking, reading, working out and any type of activity that involves being outside.
Since she has been under Dr. Ryan's care, Sarah has noticed a tremendous change with her allergies - she no longer needs to take any medications! With the help of Dr. Ryan, Sarah has also overcome a hip injury and is now able to return to running!
Laura first came to Ryan Chiropractic as a patient in 2002. After experiencing life changing care from Dr. Ryan, she proudly joined the Ryan Chiropractic team in 2003. In 2007 she graduated from The Institute for Therapeutic Massage which was a 620 hour, comprehensive NJ State approved Massage Therapy program. She is now a certified Massage Therapist in the State of New Jersey. In June she will be attending the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release training program in Pittsburgh.
Laura has also spent 15 years working with children with special needs. She coaches both Special Olympics and Youth Rugby. Laura enjoys many outdoor activities including kayaking, organic gardening, and her many pets.
Lenore is a Licensed Massage Therapist who received her training at Chubb Institute in 2008. She is passionate about helping her clients through the power of massage. She is skilled in integrating various modalities in order to customize her massage approach to her clients’ needs. Lenore is trained in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and Prenatal Massage.
Prior to pursuing her career in massage therapy she received a BS from Bloomsburg University in Secondary Education and English. After college she spent a year serving and travelling across the country with AmeriCorps NCCC then spent some time teaching at a local learning center.
Lenore is married and has 2 spirited girls who keep her laughing and busy. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, canoeing, biking and running.
Kristin grew up in the quaint, Victorian town of Belvidere New Jersey. Shortly after graduating high school in 1998, she began working in the Chiropractic field as an assistant, has held various positions in the workplace and has remained in the field ever since. She became part of the Ryan Chiropractic team in March 2015.
Kristin and her husband Dave enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and gardening. Tropical destination vacations are her favorite but she misses her pets Buddy, Tipsy and Dexter terribly while she is away.
Dr. Patricia Kimak:
Dr. Patricia Kimak grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. She attended the University of Alberta where she obtained her Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Following her undergraduate degree she moved to Hayward, California to attend Life Chiropractic College West. While attending Lifewest, Dr. Kimak was introduced to the Gonstead technique and was drawn to the specificity of the full-body technique and it's scientific nature. Dr. Kimak, being a chiropractic patient herself prior to beginning chiropractic school, saw the difference in Gonstead Chiropractic when, for the first time, she experienced relief of her exercise induced asthma.
Dr. Kimak has dedicated herself to learning the Gonstead technique, and has completed over 100+ hours of seminar training. She hopes to become a Gonstead Diplomate after meeting the certification requirements.
Dr. Kimak is excited to share the benefits of Gonstead Chiropractic with people of all ages and to help their nervous system's function at their optimum.
In her spare time Dr. Kimak enjoys exercising, hiking, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
